Frieze New York has announced the 190 contemporary galleries that will participate in the third edition of the fair, housed in a large tent in Randall's Island Park (May 9-12, 2014).

Participation in Frieze represents a considerable investment, with a small booth in the Frame section, measuring 270 square feet, going for $10,000. A stand measuring 1,150 square feet, meanwhile, rings up at $78,000.

The fair includes contemporary art galleries from 28 countries, with 53 participants from Gotham.

The fair is divided into several sections, with Focus and Frame devoted to younger galleries. Frieze Projects and Frieze Sounds will once again be curated by Cecilia Alemani, curator of New York's High Line.
