Stedelijk Receives Gift From Dealer Paul Andreisse

The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam has received a major gift from local gallery owner and collector Paul Andriesse. The donation includes 60 drawings, paintings and photographs by artists and designers including Marlene Dumas, Charles and Ray Eames, Thomas Struth and James Welling.

Attitudes Become Form Once Again, in Venice

This summer, coinciding with the Venice Biennale, the Fondazione Prada will revisit Harald Szeemann's seminal exhibition "Live in Your Head. When Attitudes Become Form," originally presented at the Kunstalle Bern, Switzerland, in 1969. "When Attitudes Become Form: Bern 1969/Venice 2013" (June 1-Nov. 24) is organized by independent curator Germano Celant with artist Thomas Demand and architect Rem Koolhaas. Read More

Hockney Will Show His First Video Installation at the Whitney

English artist David Hockney will present his first foray into video installation, The Jugglers, June 24th 2012, at New York's Whitney Museum of American Art this spring and summer (May 23-Sept. 1). Carter Burden Gallery Moves to Chelsea
