New Museum Names Curators for Next Generational

The New Museum has announced that Rhizome director Lauren Cornell and video-art phenom Ryan Trecartin will curate the museum's next Generational triennial, to take place in 2015. Cornell will leave her post as Rhizome director, where she has served for seven years, to curate the show.

Cornell is familiar with Trecartin's work, having been part of the curatorial team for "Younger Than Jesus," the first triennial, which included an expansive installation by the artist. She also curated the 2010 show "Free," which included his work.
