Bravo's popular art-world reality TV show, "Work of Art," came to its experimental end on Wednesday night, with a party at the Brooklyn Museum. The site is hosting a controversial two-month exhibition of the art of Abdi Farah, the show's winner, beginning August 14. "Work of Art" hostess China Chow and judges Bill Powers, Jeanne Greenberg Rohatyn and Jerry Saltz, along with WoA mentor Simon de Pury, relished the climatic moment, alongside artist-guest judges Will Cotton, Michele Oka Doner, Jon Kessler, Richard Phillips and Andres Serrano. After an hour of mingling and photo-ops with show producer Sarah Jessica Parker, the crowd sat down to watch the final episode, which featured the last three contestants—Farah, Peregrine Honig and Miles Mendenhall—competing for the museum show and a $100,000 prize. The three finalists happily hugged as Farah was named the winner and the rest of the contestants on hand gathered for a final group photo before heading to the Spotted Pig, in the West Village. Halfway to Chelsea, indeed.—PAUL LASTER
