Last week, Art in America celebrated the launch of its annual Guide at High Line Nine in New York. Artists, curators, dealers, and collectors joined A.i.A.’s editors and contributors for a reception sponsored by SRI Fine Art Services and Eazel. For more than thirty-five years, A.i.A’s Guide has been an indispensable sourcebook for the art world. This edition introduces a rich redesign that, combined with the digital portal artguide.pro, makes the Guide more attractive and useful than ever.
The event was part of A.i.A’s growing Live Media program, which offers readers new ways to connect with the publication in person. Follow our Live Media page for updates on face-to-face experiences A.i.A.
At the event, William S. Smith, Art in America’s editor, also spoke about two new email newsletters as essential reading. The Daily Review will deliver an incisive, agenda-setting exhibition review to your inbox each morning. The Program takes a look at how artists are adopting new tools and platforms to exploit machine learning, artificial intelligence, data and algorithms in their practice on a weekly basis. Along with Live Media, these platforms represent new ways for A.i.A to be present for the arts community.
